Work Stuff
Main jobs I've had:
University of Derby (1992-2001). I mostly worked as a lecturer in the psychology department.
University of York, Department of Health Sciences (2001-2006) I worked as a lecturer in the Health Sciences department.
RAND Corporation, 2006-2015 - they called me a Behavioral Scientist.
Google (2015-Now) - they call me a Data Scientist, in Ads Human Evaluation. I work in the Los Angeles office.
Other things:
I taught a course called 'Applying Regression' at the Essex Summer School from 2000 to 2019
I'm a visiting professor in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences, Keck Medical School, USC. (Being a visiting professor means that they don't pay you, but you don't have to do anything either.)
This is the building I work in. It's called The Binoculars Building. I got this picture from Wikipedia.
