Personal Stuff

I live in Los Angeles, with my spouse, Susanne Hempel, who writes the papers that get more citations than mine, my two sons, and a selection of animals (currently 3 dogs, a cat, 4 chickens and 2 rabbits). I've lived in LA since 2015.

I wrote some books, they're mostly about statistics. Well, co-wrote. Or edited. If you're not studying statistics at a university in a psychology or social science department, you probably won't be interested in them. I really should make a page with them on. You can find them at your favorite online bookshop, or a real bookshop can probably order them.

I'm a member of Buckhorn Ski and Snowboard Club. I'm responsible for the website, which is why it is disappointing.
