this is truely frightening and is clearly another sign of our inevitable doom
When I was around that age, I used to read my older brothers books on theoretical physics, Omni, New Scientist, Scientific American. I absolutely loved Chaos theory/dynamical systems. As a result all knowledge was within reach, even though I did not quite comprehend at the time. My love and curiosity of knowledge continued to this day. I perceive the unknown to be exciting and have a curiosity about everything. Your kids are lucky, the best gift in the world you can provide is the encouragement of natural curiosity. I am so gratefully, my brother NEVER said, to get away from his books, as I would never understand
